Pastoruri

This is a very popular day trip in Huaraz. Pastoruri Mountain stands at 5240 m altitude and apart from the most motivated ones, nobody climbs until the top, but what you can see on the way is very interesting: the Puya Raimondi, a giant cactus of the Andes and the lake Pumapashimi, with 7 colors. It is a first and interesting walk to acclimate yourself to do some physical activity in high altitudes.
